- The Steelman House is truly a holiday's dream to decorate.
- Christmas brings many decorations including a tremendous Christmas tree in the living room
- Halloween created the illusion of a haunted house. Many children visited from all over the Las Vegas valley to The Steelman's Halloween extravaganza
- Thanksgiving in the Grand Dining Room was an experience to be remembered
- Pools and parties and barbeques were always cool on the North facing rear yard even in the middle of the summer
